Three of the UK's frog and toad species on one t-shirt Natural Frog and Toads<\/a> design. All found in my home county of Devon too! The Common Frog (Rana temporaria) and Common Toad (Bufo bufo) might turn up in your back garden. The Natterjack is much rarer and found in a just a few places across the UK, on sandy dunes or heaths. There is a fourth native species in the UK, the Pool Frog (Pelophylax lessonae) , <\/em>that was thought to have become extinct in 1995 but has since been the subject of a reintroduction program. Let's hope things improve for the Pool Frog. I may have to paint a Pool Frog in a future painting!<\/p>

Design-wise, I think my three animals make a nice round number on a t-shirt! To be honest, I am a little superstitious too. In my family heritage's Chinese culture, four is not lucky, whereas three is, and sounds like the words to live, grow or life.<\/p>
